Flip-Top Saw Cart, drawn by Benchside at its standard size

Built around your shop

  • Your saw's footprint, table height and overall height, so it clears the lower shelf as it swings
  • Your work height for the flat side
  • Your caster height

How it goes together

  1. Build the cart frame and the lower shelf, and lag the casters on.
  2. Drill the axle holes in the end rails and axle blocks together.
  3. Build the flipping panel: two skins over a 2x2 frame with the axle blocks.
  4. Slide the axle through, set the collars, bolt the saw on, fit the barrel bolts.

The plan has every step written against the part letters in its cut list, with drawings of each part that has joinery.
